If you’ve read Irene’s story you know that like bees, Irene didn’t care what her doctors and nurses thought was impossible. She worked diligently to be able to walk and get her mobility back. She’s still working every day to get better.
Bee Mentality...
In addition to the correlation between Irene and bees, she has always had a fondness for them. Their tireless work ethic in creating something extraordinary has always fascinated her. Prior to her accident, she had a dream of becoming a beekeeper. In 2023, through the generosity of her soccer teammate's family, Irene received her first hive. She successfully managed her hive and produced an impressive amount of honey.
Just like bees, Irene puts in a lot of effort to achieve her goals and create something amazing. Her dedication and hard work are truly admirable, as she never gives up in the face of obstacles and always strives to improve herself. Prove Them Wrong was created to motivate others to follow the bees and Irene's example. Sophie and Irene believe that anything is possible if you are passionate and driven.
